Screenplay as exorcism!

There is a hex on us … the authority of the past; and to exorcise these ghosts is the great work of magical self-liberation. Then the eyes of the spirit would become one with the eyes of the body, and god would be in us, not outside. God in us: entheos: enthusiasm; this is the essence of holy madness. (Norman O Brown 31 May 1960 Columbia University).

On one level, ‘The Fugitive Stag’ is just that .. an exorcism. Breaking free of the ghosts of the past … and celebrating that liberation.

“The artist is always beginning. Any work of art which is not a beginning, an invention, a discovery is of little worth.” Ezra Pound

Ezra Pound -one of America’s greatest poets and probably the most influential and controversial figure in 20th-century British and American poetry

This is what The Fugitive Stag is all about, and because of ‘discovery’ its sequel is now underway. I look forward to discovering its director and producer and lead actors.
